My sister works for a particular company that sometimes hires writers. They are a B2B focused company. I am trying to get back into the work force following a stint as a SAHM and have applied at this particular company, though unsuccessfully. While I have been doing some freelance work as a writer and editor, I would appreciate the stability of a salary position.
My sister set me up with one of the company's head writers for a virtual coffee sort of chat in January. This woman doesn't have any hiring authority, so this chat isn't an interview. I confess I don't know what to say during our conversation. This is an opportunity, but I have no idea how to make the most of it. What do you think, denizens of FGB?
