Are you continuing to report the manager’s MIA status to the top manager? If I were told to show up in person and the manager was out of office, I’d be on the horn immediately with the top manager! I can’t tell if you’re reporting all of this back up the food chain or hanging out until someone contacts you! Get aggressive if you’re still interested in the role.
