If my boss is a 60+, sexist, pervert and he has called me hot, babe & rubbed my shoulders in the office; also is now discriminating against my because I’m pregnant..
what should I do?
We do not have an HR department & all the men on the board are his “good ol boys” .. He’s made it very uncomfortable to work under his leadership, but since I’m pregnant I can’t just quit.. I need money and insurance for my kids and I!

Hi Anon,
I too am very sorry you are having to endure this type of behavior from your boss. I would start documenting the dates and times you feel like he was discriminating against you because you are pregnant. Also, when you say that you don't have an HR department, are you saying that you don't have an HR department on site or you don't have an HR department at all?
You should read your employee handbook to find out how to go about reporting your manager's behavior. Lastly, you may want to think about looking for another job to avoid unnecessary stress that might cause you to have some health issues. If your work conditions continue to get worse, you may want to look into seeking counsel from a lawyer. I hope your situation gets better.

Sorry to hear that's happening to you. Have you told him directly to cut it out? Some people don't realize that their actions are inappropriate. If he says (for example) you can't lead a project because you're pregnant, have you said something like: "I can lead a project better than before because I'm pregnant. Give it to me & I'll show you." If he rubs your shoulder, have you said something like: "Please don't call me babe & rub my shoulder unless you're going to call those guys babe & rub their shoulders next." I know it's awkward, but we have to tell people when they make us uncomfortable in the office. Once they know it & keep doing it... then that's when they're definitely jerks... and you could sue if the behavior is against the law.

Take the time during your maternity leave to look for another job. Document the behavior that is discriminatory and consult either an employment lawyer or file an EEOC complaint.
