If it is a company that you revere and want to work for joining their community should give you insight into culture and content and what and how they hire. These days many companies publish a manual online of their recruiting process so that there are no surprises because they want transparency with candidates which will get them a better hire. Use the information you can gather from this blast to see trends and then also cross reference the information with linkedin to see if people are leaving rapidly from the company or moving up due to promotions.
