I finally landed what I think will be a great job in what I hope is a great place. I just started. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened, but I feel so panicked and anxious that I won't be able to do this job. I'm so fearful that I won't be able to deliver. Anyone else go through this?

Anxiety is natural because it means you respect the challenge of a new position but you were hired because a group of people felt you were the right candidate for the job. Do not undermine yourself with doubt. It is a waste of time.
I would focus on the enthusiasm for what you feel has the potential to be a great job. And be the best employee and colleague you can be - make sure that you deal with people professionally, do not gossip, don't be afraid to ask questions, be a good team player, meet your deadlines, be on time and prepared for meetings, and if you make a mistake - fess up and have a plan to fix things. And have some fun.
P.S. a mentor of mine told me to cut myself some slack the first year I was in a new position. She was right.

This is Extremely common with the current pandemic and strange economic fallout as a result. Jobs are not as prevalent, the doom and gloom being reported is very nerve racking, the restrictions forcing us to physically retreat has rocked our world. I have a solid job with great salary and benefits but have so much anxiety that I keep worrying about the what ifs and can even lose sleep over things I'm imagining that have no basis in reality.
You got the job! You were chosen as the one! Trust me, the hiring team chose the right candidate. Take comfort in that....nerves starting a new job are a given so keep them in perspective and try all the recommended stress relievers like more exercise, meditation, visualization, deep breathing. Do not watch the news or talk to negative people. Stay away from all neigh sayers who spread stress.
I know exactly where your head is at and I'm right there with you.. These are difficult times & our nervous systems are taking a beating. Your new opportunity is raising your bar of things you could lose (in your head). And is robbing you of some joy. You have to use ways to balance it out.
