I’m curious if others experience noisy co workers even management asking why you called out. And what do you say? I’m personally starting to find it annoying. Does anyone else find it annoying and what do you say?

I am so tired of the rejection and tomorrow's interview seems like such a great position. I am trying hard to stay confident but it is not easy, since I have been rejected for so many roles.
Part of me wants to celebrate and jump up and down, and then the other part of me is cautiously optimistic. The offer is contingent upon a successful background check. I have a misdemeanor back in 2009 when I was young and stupid. This misdemeanor has nothing to do with banking, theft, …

Being excluded would be worse.

Being excluded would be wonderful because I have no long term plans as this is a job to survive on. It keeps me from homelessness but need another job and more money. It’s keeping me from drowning but barely.

I hope they are paying you overtime for it. Is this meeting remote? Ask them to record it and watch it (on the clock) later in the day after you wake up. The only pushback to this would be that it does not give you a chance to contribute during the meeting, but you could follow up with reflections or follow-up questions by email. It doesn't sound like this is an issue for you, as you don't appear to be participating in it actively anyway. If not, insist that they pay for your commute time (either as your hourly pay or as travel mileage) in addition to the meeting.

Thank you and yes it is remote. It’s a remote job. I’m also expected to be on camera after working 9 hours and sleeping for 2 just to make myself presentable for this 1 hour. I’m going to simply skip the meeting this month as things come up in people’s lives. As a company you can not expect someone to give you time on their days off especially if you compensate them poorly to begin with. If I had a second job, there’s nothing they could say or do because they under pay me anyway! I’m going to have to lie because it seems like they think I’ll put up with anything. They have already catered to an employee that they hired after me by giving them my schedule and changing my work schedule 3 times in less than 3 months! I’m rightfully angry and at this point want out but can’t afford it yet!
