Your conversation with your supervisor should not have been a simple 2 second conversation to only come to the conclusion that what you do is crap.
You need to probe a bit deeper and ask for examples from your supervisor to clearly describe to you what she means by that. Ask for specific advice for steps you can do to improve your work. Your supervisor should be working with you to help you become more efficient and productive at your job.
You also need to do the introspection. Are you in an environment where it seems endless, and tiresome or a thankless job. If so, start putting in for bids elsewhere and seek for positions with specific job functions that will help you grow in your career.
