I took the career leap of faith on Friday and turned in my 2-weeks. The position that I have had since 10/2019 was never a great fit but served a good purpose at the time (100% remote which allowed me to finish a few huge life events without taking time off from an office-based job). It did change a lot with Covid and turned into a 95% sales job rather than a 95% professional development position. After 18 months of trying to make it work, it became clear that not only was I doing a disservice to myself, I was not the employee that the company needed. My last day with the company is 4/16 and I'm looking forward to whatever my next career landing spot will be! Any advice for this crazily exciting time is appreciated!
