I just wanted to thank Laura Berlinsky-Schline for "21 Interview Tips to Read Before Walking Into Your Next Interview". I was able to grab a question or two from her article that I believe was successfully used in two recent interviews. :) I just wish I had read "15 Phone Interview Tips That Will Get You To The Next Round". Although these interviews were just the one round.
I really dislike phone interviews where your answers are timed... But at the end I was able to use the question:
"If you think about the most successful person in your office, currently, what qualities does that person have that you believe makes them so successful in their position?" Both supervisors seemed thrown a little bit at first, but I was told by one "That's a very good question".
I received great answers on that question, and nothing that was unreasonable. All things that I would expect from a human services type of position. I was happy that they liked the question.... will be a few weeks before I find out if it paid off. Good Luck ladies!
