We are currently amidst a pandemic where many of us are working remotely. Working remotely creates new challenges for team cohesion. I've seen our team grow apart this past year. Articles like this add to people's paranoia about their colleagues, particularly when those colleagues are now remote.
The pandemic notwithstanding, it is never healthy to try to get into other people's heads. And I don't see ANY data-based information in this post which is really, really irresponsible.

Having posted this as a standalone post, it's not clear what article you're referring to. That said, I'm not a fan of the many, many articles that allege reasons you're not going to get hired, reasons you look unprofessional to colleagues, things you do that allegedly turn away colleagues, etc. etc. It's all very negative and judgey.
Frankly, I don't want to work with people who are constantly being petty, picking apart things about me that they personally merely "dislike." I have always been under the impression that I don't have to "like" everything about my colleagues. I don't have to want to hang out with them outside of work or date them in order to work well with them. I don't have to "like" their style of music, as long as it isn't being blasted out at work. I don't have to "like" the fact that someone has piercings, tattoos, or maybe just loves a particular clothing color and/or style. I don't have to have the same personality type that s/he has, enjoy the same private working environment that s/he has, or have every single step of our working methods in common. These are all nice; but, they're not necessary. I only have to work well with him/her overall. That's something that entirely too many businesses and individual professionals apparently still need to learn/relearn.
