Skills to learn in quarantine

I am a college graduate who spent a year abroad playing professional soccer. Now I am ready to transition to the work force and retire from athletics. With a lot of extra time on my hands right now because of quarantine I was wondering what kind of skills I can learn on my own that will help me stand out and increase my chances of landing a job. I am mostly looking for jobs in the sales or consulting industry. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I second the salesforce suggestion! Check out their Trailhead learning page. I often direct my new hires to it if there is a longer lead time before they start with me. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/home LinkedIn Learnings and Coaching for leaders has some great webinar and podcast content too.

If you are up for the challenge, I think it is great to get training in Salesforce or even certified. They have a great training program and the program can take you so many places!

I work in sales as well and some of the best self-teachable skills are advanced Excel knowledge, SQL Database skills, cold calling skills, and marketing skills (graphics, email, communication, social media).
