I have a great networking opportunity- how should I prepare?
I'm job searching, and got invited to a networking event where everyone else could be a potential hiring manager. (I don't know who else will be there, but they're all senior execs- this is a favor from friend).
I usually try to build a good rapport with a handful of people at such events, but I don't want to miss out on any possible lead here. I'm def not going to tell everyone that I'm looking, and I don't want to be busy swapping business cards either.
Please tell me your ideas on how to best use this one-time opportunity for my job search.
