Revisit/Redirect/Reposition

As I scroll some of the post, I feel that there are so many that are unhappy, unfulfilled, lost, struggling, just barley making it or just going through the motions! I would just like to encourage you to Revisit/Redirect/Reposition! Revisit your purpose and focus on WHO you are. You may be unhappy today, but that’s not your tomorrow! You may have received several no”s”, but that next interview could be your YES! Redirect your energy and speak positive affirmations! You will have victory in every situation! Don’t connect to negative energy. Reposition your crown QUEENS! It may have shifted recently, but go ahead and straighten it back because You Are Not Defeated! You can get that resume out again, update it, and submit it! You will find the job you desire. If you have a job, you can go to work with new confidence in why you are there, how far you will go, and if you will have a successful career! You will exceed in every thing you do. Position yourself to WIN!

Kenna! I love this post -- you are so spot on. It's easy and the natural thing to look at what is not working for us. However, the only way to get where we want to go is question the thoughts, beliefs and actions we take. When we start to focus on the positive, count our blessings and start to take action from that place more doors start to open. Have a great week!

Thanks for this. Sometimes too it’s good to choose to be happy and find joy no matter the situation plus acceptance.

Thank you, Keena. My sense of unhappiness right now is based on belonging -- or actually not belonging. My partner and I relocated two years ago to an area where I have few family members or friends. With our new COVID reality and being separated from my close family and friends, I'm feeling a little isolated. Your message reminds me that this too shall pass.

Hello, I moved to a new area about 5 years ago and felt exactly the same! It wasn’t even due to Covid, but being in a new place. I only had my family (husband and kids). I was not as out spoken as I am today, but that changed over time! Be encouraged that happiness is all around you. I started to journal, started to do videos online, and posting motivational post. Soon I had a new community of people to talk to. I started to seek happiness internally first, so that I could project it in my new environment. I hope that this pandemic passes soon, but until then figure out new ways you can connect with those you love so that you don’t feel so lonely. Glad that you connected with my post and yes, this too shall pass!

Belonging, connectedness and relationships are absolute keys to happiness and I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. While connectivity through video is different from IRL, there are ways to uplevel your bonds to feel more connected. Create a specific routine every week, maybe a virtual book club or even a movie night virtually. Did you know that even starting small talk in line at the grocery story can boost our happiness? While deep connections are wonderful (and important), a simple small chat with other humans has a positive impact on your brain. Find smaller ways to do this so you are getting the spikes for yourself. It gets harder to make friends when we are older, add in COVID lockdown and it's near impossible. Yes, this too will pass. Once the world opens up a little more, find something to join, a gym, a class at the library, anything where you can make casual conversation and start to build connections. Sending virtual hugs.
