I had an interview today and I really like the company. They're 50% male to female at the company, they have a strong D&I company and it's in the field I've been trying to get into for years. They asked my salary requirements, and I noticed a trend that if I didn't give a range, a recruiter wouldn't move me on to the next round. I gave my absolute minimum in an interview today, but it's midway, and about $20,000 less than I want. They also just posted the position, and I know that they have the capital to pay me the additional $20,000.
How do I go about asking for the higher rate, if I get an offer?
