I have been applying for jobs since May and as many of you know the process is exhausting. After being laid off from my job due to COVID my desire was to find another full time role however after landing no offers I recently decided to open myself up to freelance positions.
Recently through a recruiter I was able to land a temporary freelance role for 4 months with an amazing company. Although not permanent it will get me back into the workforce and of course something is better than nothing so I immediately accepted. It is also remote and I've grown accustomed to.
A couple days later I received a call from a role I previously interviewed with offering me a final interview which may lead to an decision soon. This is a great company as well and will give me the fulltime role I've been looking for.
My biggest issue is I don't want to burn a bridge by turning down a job offer I've already accepted. Does anyone have experience rescinding a job acceptance?
