Have a new manager who’s style differs from mine greatly. She’s emotion. I’m facts. She’s new. I’m tenured.
In trying to point out our organizations “watch outs” as she’s making decisions that will impact my projects, she dismisses them. Without knowing our organizations history, culture nor having any data to back her decisions, this is of no consequence to her.
Active listening isn’t her strength and EQ isn’t there. I’m worried her rash and myopic decisions are setting me up to fail.
any advice on how to diplomatically address this?

Company is asking us to go back into the office after 3 years.
We have done very well remotely. We have no office space but the owners seem eager to push for staff to work from an actual office.
how would you navigate away from that ? What would you propose and say if you felt it was unnecessary given how well your team has worked?

what are some signs a temp agency is trying to push the position on to you?
I set up a call with the recruiter and I felt the whole call was basically asking me repeatedly if I want the role. I didn’t get a formal job description and seems they want to know my intent by having me sign the letter of commitment. This is a government contract job. So I don’t have much experience in dealing with these things. Any advice ? The contractor who is supposed to call me for next steps will call on a weekend and not a weekday. I feel this whole process is being rushed.

I filed a complaint with HR.
I was immediately removed from the schedule , and HR told mgmt to remove me for another month until concerns with boss get resolved and the situation blows over. Mgmt is calling it "HR Compliance." Ive stayed in contact about return to work. Found out Mgmt would like to transfer me. I asked about working at original location and was told bc HR Compliance there are very few shifts available. I asked when will it (complaine) will be over and have been ghosted.

Hi all, I have a dilemma and can use some sound advice.
I got to interview for a great opportunity (I was laid off in Feb, so have been in the hunt for a while) I think I will get this role bc of my experience and bc the recruiter told me the person hiring saw my resume and called him on Memorial Day to get me in the phone.
The job is what I used to do so I'm sure I will excel. The problem is, it's hybrid night and weekends.
I can go into the office no issues on Fri and Sat night but, because I have a 3 year old, I can't do the other nights bc my husband also works nights and we would have different days of going in.
While he would be able to help with our kid, I'm afraid they may give me a hard time and I haven't yet had the 2nd interview to be able to disclose it.
My question, what is the best way to bring this up? I really want and need this job so I don't want to pass it up. Just extremely nervous about it all.
