Just learning a few things in time management and I'd love to share a new trick I picked up.
Grab 4 post it notes the night before work/your next day to work on things. Set out your priorities - ask yourself:
1. If I worked on this today, would I consider it a big win?
2. What could I work on today to make me feel accomplished?
3. What has been sitting on my plate for way too long that would feel relieving to finish?
I did this in clearing out a few old items on my to-do list that seem to keep on carrying over week to week and man do I feel reinvigorated knowing that the remaining items on my to do list feel current and relevant. NO MORE GUNK!
Limit yourself to 4! it's easy to expand our list in optimistic promise of more focus, energy, time tomorrow to dedicate to tasks but realistically 4 is manageable, feel free to take it down to 1, 2 or 3 depending on your day availability.
