I have read so many different articles on this and they all conflict with each other. I'd love to hear what you guys think from your experiences!
I'm looking to relocate to a different state/city, but ideally I'd love to have a job first. When applying for out of state jobs, is it best to put that you are open to relocate on your resume/cover letter? Or do you act like you are already in the state? I've heard of people using friend's local addresses on their resumes and applications to have a better chance at even being seen by the recruiters.
What do you think? What would a hiring manager or recruiter prefer?
*Edit: thank you all for all of your comments! Super helpful to hear all the possibilities.
