I am a senior in high school right now & I graduate in practically 3 more weeks.
I am a little confused on what I want to continue my life with. I definitely am very self-care pro and I love talking to people. Especially if I can help them. And know my subject but obviously you know what you work in. I don't want to go into fashion or cosmetology even though I love it, it just doesn't make enough money and there aren't many job opportunities. My GPA throughout high school never fell below 3.5 and I do have smarts to me. I am just confused on what I want to do in life. I am considering becoming a dietitian but I want more of a variety of what would fit me best. I love working and being on my feet. But I'd love something that is less stressful and something where I won't be questioning what I am doing but learning a few things along the way with my career would be beneficial. I've worked in a grocery store doing multiple things but most recently for the past year in a bakery which I love! I like the fact I can help my costumers and talk and create bonds with my coworkers. I also want to be able to use creativity if possible but I also wouldn't mind just having a side job to use that part of me. I would just like to hear some recommendations on what's stressful and fun but also allowing me to talk to the outside world.

First, congrats on graduating and maintaining a high GPA throughout! Not everyone knows what they want to do with their life at your age (or any age), so don't feel you need to rush into finding a career. Have you thought about higher education? That would give you some time to explore different career options and things that you might want to study further. If money's an issue, look into 2 year (AA) programs at community colleges to start with. You could continue at 4 yr college after if you want. Since you like helping people, health care is something you might want to look into. Lots of job security with good pay and plenty of different career paths are available there. You could also look into working for community agencies or non-profits that have a mission to help people improve their lives. If you're not sure that's a good fit, consider volunteering at a few places to see if you'd like to work there full or part time. The hospitality industry (hotel/restaurant management), retail or customer service might be another option, since you like helping people and interacting with them. They don't always pay well, but if you really like what you do, you could move up quickly. Now is a great time to explore your options and see what's out there for you!

I definitely have thought about going to a 4-year university. I am first going to do this 6 month program to become a dental assistant. I would want to do community college first to get my general classes out of the way. Thank you so much for your input I will consider a lot of it!

I would highly recommend doing a couple of online personality or preference evaluations. There are a couple of free ones that are very useful to help you determine what you like doing best. Here is one called My Next Move by the US Dept of Labor: https://www.mynextmove.org/explore/ip
Best wishes.
