1 clothing item I have no business wearing (while working remote right now)

What once was the ultimate in comfort and casual wear, jeans have been usurped by more comfortable — and stretchier — options. I’ve embraced leggings, yoga pants and comfy dresses — and haven’t worn a single pair of jeans since the pandemic started. When was the last time you wore jeans and are you wearing them less (if at all)?

Ha love this thread! Agree I haven't worn jeans in months even pre-COVID, as I'm not a huge fan of them. I know it'll be time to wear them come Fall sooner than later though. Big fan of Good American jeans if anyone needs a new brand to try out! Definitely love a comfortable t-shirt and leggings or dress to throw on for calls.

I personally associate jean and leggings with relax and weekend, however in my last job we were allowed to dress pretty casual and I started to wear fashionable jeans ( dark blue, black etc.) at work. Despite the lifestyle rearrangement due to pandemic, I have not change my routine , and I try to get ready for work and dress up for business after my morning routine, and slip into my yoga pants at 5 pm.

I also like the idea of getting dressed for work in the morning. I often wear jeans with a nice blouse or dresses and use a standing desk while WFH. After working hours I change into shorts and a tee shirt for comfort and to work out.

Before the pandemic I would wear jeans only on the weekends. I've been so dependent on leggings, workout shorts, and dresses at home during the week that I continue to wear these on the weekends too. SO, I can't remember the last time I wore jeans heh.

No jeans but that is because of hot summer. They will return in fall

Jeans and a button up dress shirt or blouse for daily Zooms. With all the changes happening around us getting ready is something I like to do. Some people talk about designating parts of their home to help separate work from personal time. That's what clothes do for me, changing into something comfortable at the end of a day is a treat. I also enjoy wearing perfume and even though I am home alone I still spritz before heading to the kitchen to "work".

I've worn jeans a little but I didn't really wear them to work anyway. Right now with the heat I've been wearing dresses almost everyday because I can just throw it on it one piece! LOL

It depends what my workday is like. If I have lots of dig deep work to do, I'll wear something really cozy. If I have a day where I want to get lots done, I will wear jeans and maybe even a scarf. It makes me feel like I'm in "go to it mode". Today, I have a client (I'm a coach) so I'll wear a dress (a simple summer dress) but dressing for my client puts me in the right energy for her.

I haven't worn jean since I started working remotely. That was three years ago.
