I accidentally forwarded to the WORST person possible (and what I should have sent instead)
I've just made my worst email mistake ever at work! My boss sent me an email with details about an upcoming project. My boss is notorious for being incredibly nit picky; she had outlined every detail about the project and left no room for creativity. In a moment of frustration, I tried to forward the email to my coworker and wrote: "This is so classic. If we weren't remote, I feel like she'd take my hand and make the presentation for me."
Except I didn't forward it to my coworker...I accidentally forwarded it BACK to my boss! I am so horrified and really embarrassed of my behavior.
I immediately sent a follow-up email apologizing, but I haven't heard back from her yet. What can I do to fix this?
