I recently left my job suddenly and will be doing contract work through July.
However, I'd like to pick up some more 'gig' type work (no MLMs, ride-sharing, delivery) I can do from home.
Where have you had luck finding gigs?

Most of mine are word of mouth from previous clients, but remote.co, upwork, solidgigs - those types. Some like Flexjobs ae great, but are a paid subscription. Some folks really love the gig sites, but they're not for everyone. Upwork and Solidgigs are pretty reliable and legit, though.
You can also let your local Chamber of Commerce know your availability and skills to share with companies, businesses, entrepreneurs who may be looking, as well.
And then, of course, networking! People who already know you and know your value are a tremendous source of information (and sharing yours with others). :)

My company TransPerfect has a lot of AI and transcription jobs that come up on our portal. I don’t often work on that side of the business but I have a friend who sometimes picks up gigs from us and seems happy
