I am currently going through an ordeal with my job.
Part of my job is to review applications.
For the last month the receiving dep manager who overlooks the applications has been a tad rash.
For example: I had a family emergency, notified my supervisor who allowed me to be off. He knew I’d be off and authorized it. Since I was gone the applications did not process because my colleague was also gone (he went on vacation).
Well the dept. manager emails me, my colleague, supervisors and let’s everyone know that These applications should have been processed.
Now mind you, both my colleague and I set out of office emails reminders to which I know this woman read because she emailed me while I was in Kentucky.
A few weeks later this same dept manager is messaging me and supervisor stating that she can not process the applications because applicants failed to disclose another document. I had never been notified of this new document or I could have addressed it when submitting the applications.
Advice on how to address this?
I’m infuriated because she is making out to be as though I’m not doing my job!!!
