I am so sorry that you are going through this! I could have almost written this post. I found out I had cancer and my boss, also the owner of the company, almost immediately started harassing/bullying me. It was very clear to me that he was trying to get me to resign my position. I, too, was required to keep a logbook of ALL daily activity, and while it was a pain in the butt, that logbook came in very handy later on. I refused to let my boss push me out and started making copies of literally everything. He ended up terminating me two hours after I submitted my cancer treatment schedule, which was to begin the following week. I currently have an ongoing case with the EEOC for discrimination. The logbook along with all the copies of everything I kept have proven very helpful (i.e. he tried to claim I wasn't telling him about doctors appointments, but I had the emails to prove that I was, he tried to claim that I was not doing the accounting portion of my job property and I was able to submit proof that he had made numerous fictitious invoices to inflate AR, etc.). If you have proof of this behavior, contact the EEOC or if it is a smaller company, contact your state's Health and Human Resources office and file a claim! If they retaliate against you, that just strengthens your claim. Please continue to look for something else and get out of there! The stress is not good for anyone, let alone someone with a disability.
