I’m curious if others experience noisy co workers even management asking why you called out. And what do you say? I’m personally starting to find it annoying. Does anyone else find it annoying and what do you say?

I am classified as a full time W2 contractor and you didn't answer my question.

W2 is NOT a Contractor. You asked an odd question, because if this role adds to your eligibility for unemployment, that assumes you were employed to begin with. Not a Contractor, in that sense, because Contractors receive 1099 tax forms, and their payment is not considered part of the calculation or eligibility for unemployment.
You may be a 'temporary worker' but not Contractor when it comes to unemployment or taxes.

They're global, so unless your manager works in Payroll, there's ZERO chance they'd know anything about unemployment filings to begin with. File for UI the minute you receive your final paycheck. Hopefully a new internal role opens for you in 2025! Wishing for thr best!
