I have! It ended up being a toxic company, and I quit that job. But I fell in love with the new city!! If you havd your finances in order well enough to take a chance, then do it!!

Yes I moved for a new job, a few times in fact. One where the company paid for the full relocation, packing, moving, etc. (This one was by far exceptional...totally the Moving Company rocked.) One where the company said "here's $5000, use it wisely." This ended up with three different moving trucks, lost items, and was a cross-country mess! And One where the company didn't pay a cent. That one was really difficult financially. I ended up not enjoying my time there as my husband had to stay back until the house sold. So many issues with this one. My thoughts upon reflection are to make sure WHY you're taking the job. Did you ask for any compensation? Most companies can give $5k these days. Additionally, most companies have a clause in the agreement that if you quit within a year, you OWE them all the relocation funding back. Good luck to you, and make sure you're doing what it good for you.
