Would creating a swim lanes document that outlines what each person is responsible for in the process help to clarify the balance of work? Sometimes creating documentation of your process and aligning the correct resources to each step can enlighten a less-than-productive colleague.

We have that set through my suggestion so certain task are already outlined but like yesterday there was a teams chat that a manager asked us to call 9 people. I called the first three, another co worker I work with did 3 and then the other three should have been left to the slacker. He did check that he would do the other three, so I had to tell my manager to basically tell him to do those three. I feel like anything and everything that deals with this job you will have to verbally and blatantly tell them what to do. I just don’t operate like that, I take initiative do my part, and TBH I would do their job too but then it’s like what are you here for? Lol I just don’t feel like it’s my place since I’m not getting paid to be the manager but that’s what it feels like I’m doing.
