As clichéd as this is going to sound-I'm a multiracial person with friends and co workers from racial and economic backgrounds.
After my divorce, I was in dire financial straits and clawed my way to the financial freedom that I enjoy now. I credit my success to the Grace of God and working 80 hour weeks. The idea of paying reparations for something that happened centuries ago is repugnant to me and I find myself more irritated than I thought I would be with the concept. Does anyone else feel that way? I would like for this to not devolve into a racial thread but would like to know if my feelings are abhorrent or if others feel the same. Thanks for your input.
