Who.. Who is does this benefit?
Me, of course and hopefully one of you. We can all share together.
Why…. Why am I writing this?
Like many of you who are unemployed, still employed, furloughed, laid off or looking to get back into the workforce or change career paths and/or grow your career, I faced and still face self-doubt. I want to learn new skills, grow my professional career and explore new interests.
What… What am I doing about it?
First of all, I keep on looking for ways to connect... to others, to myself, to society. I’ve started reading articles on here, listening to podcasts and meditating. I’ve consumed less television and am taking time to write this post right now. ? I’ve also looked for webinars to participate in along with online classes. You can get a free month of LinkedIn Learning and Skillshare (I believe offers 3 months) and see what is the best fit for you (Look for promos). I’ve also joined forums such as this one and BossedUP. I’m starting to connect to other on LinkedIn through these forums. You never know what articles or posts one might share and have an impact on your thinking, your life, your career.
Meditation has been extremely helpful, which I’ve learned some techniques from the Mindset Mentor Podcasts. The BossedUp podcasts has also helped with Female Empowerment and motivation. See where you can relate and keep searching for the platform that works best for you.
Where.. Where can I do this? From the comfort of your home or office you can do all these things.
What’s Next? What are some tips you have to share with the community? What are some forums, classes or networking events that worked for you?
Webinars: Take a look at the FGB event page.
