I have perused all of the stereotypical articles online for onboarding, and was curious if anyone had additional tips that are more focused and a bit less broad?
For example 'give them a buddy' is very broad, but 'establishing meetings and projects with said buddy' is a bit more specific.
Do you have idea and tips and tricks for how you like to onboard your staff?
Or, as an employee, what did you enjoy about onboarding? What did you hate? What do you wish they had done? Do you have any ideas for a good onboarding tip as someone who has experienced it?
All feedback welcome! I am looking to establish a toolkit for this and excited about discussing the idea, as onboarding and staff development is a huge priority for me.
This is not specific to type of job. I feel there is knowledge to be gained from all areas sharing ideas, not simply similar ones.
