I want to go into marketing, but I'm also interested in being a organizational-industrial psychologist.
I believe that going into marketing can help me on the path to becoming an organizational-industrial psychologist, but the more I read about marketing, the less I feel it will help. What do you think?

Hi. Your question depends on what you want to do with this type of work.
If you want to go into I/O Psychology, that requires an advanced degree so I agree that marketing probably won't help. However if you want to do OD work without the PhD there is a path through marketing. If you go into branding, there is definitely a culture change component to it in order to embed the branding changes and all of the components that go with it into the organization.
Even with branding work, it usually requires some type of marketing degree.

Hello, depends on several factors. If you already have a degree in the psychology field or marketing training or education already. I do not know what is the job outlook for occupations in Organizations and industries. I am planning to go back to school to obtain a second Masters degree in Human Service Counseling non licensed degree. I am also interested in the field you mentioned above. That is something I have a passion for. Below is a quick link I found.
