I never want to discourage someone from pursuing their dream but as someone who used to recruit lawyers, I would strongly encourage you to find out as much as you possibly can about what actually being a lawyer might be like for you before you make this big investment of time and money.
What kind of law do you think you want to practice? What kind of firm? Large? Do you know what being an entry level associate at a big law firm entails? Hang out your own shingle? Do you know what building a practice on your own might entail?
I can't tell you how many people I met who went to law school, graduated law school, sat for the bar, passed the bar, started working as an attorney and hated it.

Great advice - I went to law school and passed the bar and then never worked as a lawyer although my first job required a J.D. I went to law school because I wasn't sure what to do after college and I think my parents pushed me into it. Going to law school is my biggest regret in life although I did meet my husband there. So I agree that you should think about whether you really have a passion for it.
