* update: to clarify, I have accrued
- 70 hours of Vacation
- 12 hours of Floating holidays
- 100 hrs of sick time
(And my last 35 hrs of vaca was paid out when I was laid off - with hours notice - for 2 months earlier this year)
It’s official, the executive director denied my vacation request to take a week to be with my child.
I explained I needed that time to help my child with virtual learning. I just learned that he is skipping classes and not doing school work.
The executive director says a week of billable hours is too much to miss out on.
She just got back from a two vacation!
She’s only in the office once a week.
I didn’t take a vacation all summer.
I have 100 hours of sick time!
I’m always there - working. My kid needs me!!
