I am currently the Practice Manager of a small Behavioral Health Practice. Prior to COVID-19 the Excutive Director/founder who is my direct supervisor was not around much to provide support, guidance, or training opportunites for myself and others. If you reached out to her asking for guidance or instruction, she would get defensive, not give you the instruction, and make remarks on how dumb you are. Now during COVID-19 she has escalated her insults to daily calls filled with demeaning language. It has made the environment very difficult to get work done which makes her even more upset. Is there any way to go about handling this situation? Others who have pointed it out have been fired. Should I leave, even during a pandemic?
