Moments that seem like Eternity

I have recently started exercising (walking/running) on a regular basis, eating healthier, and taking supplements to build my immune system. In addition, I spend time meditating and praying. Some days I still feel mentally and emotionally drained. How are you?

I worked it out

I tend to slump until I find a new project, something I have to really learn and focus on, but a big help for me is having email conversations with people (my cell is disconnected, and the texts were always too long anyways), but one girl only likes to text this way once a day, and my best friend is really busy so she just responds to my emails with emojis that don't show up in my email. I have a spouse, but he works the whole time we are awake 5 days a week. So if you ever need to just converse, I always answer people back :) You are not alone (hugs)

I started taking several walks during the day to stay energized. I also changed my diet for healthier options and include extra vitamins and supplements. Although, the best thing I have done is change my mindset to focus(as best I can) on the positive things in life. I am no longer bound to negative self talk or worried about things I can not control. Beyond this, it does not hurt to set new goals or start a new hobby.

Think about it this way, if it helps: you are an empty glass, which you are refilling drop by drop with new habits and behaviors. The glass won’t fill overnight, but you will eventually make so much progress that the glass starts to fill & eventually spill over. Then you mentally pour that progress into a bigger glass, continuing your progress, and so on. You pick your starting & ending glass sizes - could be a shot glass to start, and a drinking glass or wine glass for your next stage. And most importantly, be kind to yourself, listen to the words you use when talking to yourself, and know that every day brings change of some sort! Hope this helps!!

I think we all experience these moments from time to time. What I do whenever I feel mentally and emotionally drained are the following: 1) make sure that I sleep well 2) eat my comfort food 3) do things that I love like crafting or watching funny shows and 4) make sure that I communicate with my favorite people I hope you feel better soon.

Believe that many of us who are feeling mentally and physically drained can relate lately. For me, getting enough sleep is important which I was diagnosed with sleep apnea so I corrected myself without medication or equipment.

It's natural. I feel the same way sometimes. Whenever I feel drained, I allow myself to eat the food I love or do things I enjoy. That cheers me up.Hope you find your way too.
