Read the instructions below to update your profile URL and then hit the one minute timer.

- Go to LinkedIn.com on your LAPTOP or DESKTOP
- Go to your profile by clicking on your face
- Click “Edit Public Profile & URL” - this will either be on the upper right-hand side or down at the very bottom of the page depending on how big your screen is
- Under “Edit your custom URL” click the pencil
- Write in your first and last name in the text box (for example - linkedin.com/in/beccacarnahan
- Click Save
YUP. That’s it.
Your LinkedIn URL is now super pretty and easy to remember.
If someone already has your name URL, first name middle initial last name.
Your old URL will forward to this one but update your email signature just to cover your bases.

It was an ordinary Friday evening when my friends and I decided to unwind with some online casino games. Here's another quick win. Check your visibility settings! Often people will set their visibility to very private or even quasi private. On LinkedIn that's not necessary and it holds you back from getting noticed for opportunities. This is your professional brand, put those settings on Public! You can do that on the same screen you updated your URL.
