I have had a LinkedIn account for a few years and am now considering LinkedIn Premium. If you have signed up for it, do you think it is worth it?
Thanks in advance.

You can try LinkedIn Premium for free, I think it’s for one month. I tried it during the free period while job hunting. I didn’t find it was worth the additional cost for me, but would recommend you try the free period to decide if it’s worthwhile for you.

I agree that it may not be worthwhile, but if you are careful to discontinue premium before the free trial expires, it won't hurt anything to see if it is helpful to you. However, in my opinion, Linked In has gone WAY downhill in the past few years; there are angry rants to rival Twitter hostility and creepy strangers either trying to sell something or to flirt, but not many relevant employment leads

LinkedIn premium has it's worth. When I tried for free, I was looked at more, with stats showing how I ranked against other candidates for positions I applied for, and what could be done to make me more competitive. But, if you're on a shoe string budget, better things could be paid for.

Not really a fan of LinkedIn these days. It didnt seem to provide any real value in my last 2 job searches so I'm not sure throwing $ at it would improve results.

I tried for a couple of months. Like everyone mentioned do the free- trial. Looking back I would say make sure you have the time to dedicate to its use to get the full benefit. I did find it helpful to network within my current company, which is made up of many subsidiaries. I was able to learn about different career paths people have taken. It also, helped me get involved at an industry-level locally by learning about some initiatives and groups that are in the area.

It really depends on what you do. I signed. up and then cancelled it because I found it too expensive personally.

I would say it depends on your field and stage in your career. As someone who only recently received their undergraduate degree in the last two years, it has been a beneficial tool for myself for networking purposes and keeping myself appraised of what is going around me. I've found many opportunities that are not directly tied to my field that have helped me grow professionally. Again, there's no harm in doing the free trial and seeing if it's an investment to you.
