How to Manage (and squash!) a toxic work environment?
Looking for advice:
My department has notoriously been known as “The Viper Pit”. It consists of 10 women and I manage 4 of them. The backstabbing, tattling, and all over mean girl attitudes are rampant. I’ve asked my boss why there are so many interpersonal issues and she replied “I don’t know.” I asked how we fix the department and again, “I don’t know”.
So, how do I manage my subordinates and influence positive change to get rid of this toxic environment?
