Expected CTC

I was asking for 120 % increase in salary as I hoped I would get 100% hike during negotation ? Is it okay to ask that much amount?

Be sure you know what the industry standard is for your role and geographic area so that you can back it up. Check payscale.com, salary.com, glassdoor.com, indeed.com, careeronestop.org, etc.

I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to ask for that if the position warrants it. I say, if you don't ask, you don't know and you don't get. Ask. As women we often short-sell ourselves and what we bring to the table.
