So I'm currently recruiting for part-time roles in education. The role is pretty flexible and states explicitly in both the job title and the description that the applicant can choose to be fully remote, fully in person or a mix based on their preference. It's the same job type that I posted pre-Covid and would normally get 6 or so applicants within an hour. Two days later, we have zero applicants. I'm kind of shocked because I know employment isn't great right now and on top of it, we are offering the option for remote work.
I even made a point of adding that it was a great job for someone with a resume gap, a recent college grad, or someone over 60. Stated hourly rates are around $25.
Should I be zeroing in on any other details? Anyone else finding this to be the case?
