My manager submits poor work (and doesn’t realize it)
I’m running into a problem I can’t seem to solve! The team of 4 I'm included in does a great job at being individual contributors. Our team morale is high, and we're generally all just great at our jobs. We’ve all been within our roles for over 2+ years, we set high goals and continue to conquer them.
However, our new manager isn’t the right fit. He’s 3 month into this job and it’s pretty clear now that he isn’t great an articulating our successes and findings within meetings that include superiors that deserve to hear the right story. This manager means very well, but just isn’t great at executing his points (and our team's initiatives). I don’t know how to manage up or address this without saying, “hey, your choice of words is hurting our team.” — Any advice?
