I have a co-worker who tags people constantly in tasks and slack.
They have a tendency to do so in a double or triplicate sort of sense, tagging folks in a linked task, then also the other instance of the same issue, etc etc. This is regardless of if that issue has already been acknowledged or if the other information is contained in one of the tasks.
They also tend to @ people even if they don't necessarily need to be alerted in a very 'just in case' sort of way.
With so many push notifications and different communication channels to wade through in our very virtual workplace lives, how in the world do we approach meaningful "@ etiquette "?
