I recently got a new job and I love it. My new schedule is very demanding, and I really do not have time for much and look forward to the weekend.
The problem is that my former job is still contacting me. They have not replaced me, and I don’t think they are being clear with the clients I served about who is now helping them with pending issues and questions. I left an away message referring them to other people in the organization who could help them, and it included my personal contact info.
My old clients were contacting me daily right after I left and now a month after maybe twice a week, including weekends. When I asked them to contact the person who the organization said would take over temporarily, my clients say there is no interest in answering, and I end up helping them.
I love my former clients, but I don’t think I can continue doing this.
