This is exactly what I’m going through too. The constant monitoring is worse than anything I’ve ever experienced. There’s something about knowing I’m being timed for bathroom breaks that makes my soul cry.

Timed for bathroom breaks!?!?! That's monstrous! Is it a call center?
Anonymous
Yes, and it was a position that was not promoted as a call center in any way and about a month in I knew I was screwed.

I have no doubt that you are dealing with a stressful work situation, but some of what you wrote has me concerned about your physical and/or mental health.
Just to be clear, I am a hefty couch potato who never exercises and is not a medical professional. However, to medically Monday morning quarter back, when you stated that you stopped exercising because you are worried about running out of energy, it gave me pause for concern because exercising should be giving you the opposite effect.
If I may, I would suggest going to your doctor and talking to them about your fatigue. Definitely have a conversation with your doctor about the difficulty of getting out of bed in the morning. I would also ask your doctor to have your blood tested because there are a myriad of fixable things that could cause fatigue.
Again, I have no doubt that your job is draining you, but the reason why I am focusing on the medical side of things is because I wonder if you might be dealing with something that is exacerbating an already difficult situation. If that is the case, perhaps treating it will give you the energy you need to get out from under your job.
I wish you the best!
