I am interviewing for an association as their new Executive Director. I grew up in the industry for which I am applying for. I've had other high positions of responsibility such as Executive Director and Regional Administrator and have owned my own business for 20+ years. I've gotten where I am by taking risks and am not a pushover; I'm a leader. I was asked to take a "survey" which turned out to be a 70 word personality test. I took the test the Wednesday prior to Christmas and have not heard back from them. This position is a perfect fit overall. If I am notified that I am not a candidate is it too late to possibly respectfully ask for another interview. I just cannot comprehend that I wouldn't go to the next step. I feel this 70 word "survey" as they called it was a detriment. For example...the word Careful. I would think I am careful with the finances. It could be construed as not taking risks. I'm very discouraged. Any suggestions?
