I just did the final round of interviews for a job position that I love in a company that I like really much.
The manager that I should replace is leaving next Monday and they want me to start as soon as possible, so they are pushing me for a contract so "I can start right away" since they need me urgently, while a full time position requires, they say, "to wait for all the papers to be ready".
It's a remote position, and I'm not aware of what kind of documentations they need to fill to hire me, but I'm sure I'm more interested in been hired full time than having a contract.
I'm getting different feedbacks from friends and colleagues and I a really need an advice from someone who understands more about these issues.
Should I accept a contract, start right away and then wait for them to move it to full time? Should I push for a full time and ask them to wait until all the papers are done?
A friend I have at the company suggested me to push for a full time position because he is positive they have the budget for that.

I filed an EEOC complaint on April last year.
It is for racial discrimination, age discrimination and retaliation and harassment. The big corporation has not fired me as of today even though I have not worked since 12-29-23. I am under care of psychiatrist and therapist and primary doctor for now having to be on blood pressure medication due to severe stress. I have over 100 pages of documentation submitted to EEOC. Should I get an Attorney now or wait until EEOC finishes their investigation? I was not offered mediation but offered remedies of reporting to a different manager, moving to another restaurant and back pay because my hours were cut from 20 part time hours to 10 hours per week after I filed HR Complaint against Manager on 03-03-23.

How to get better at asking for help at work:
Hi ladies! I could really use some advice on how to tackle my biggest professional weakness. I can't seem to bring myself to ask for help at work, even when I really need it. Normally this isn't a huge issue, but a ran into a brick wall on Monday in this respect. There was a lot happening on the production floor and in the middle of it all there was a problem with one of our lines and the other three lines needed attention all at the same time. Instead of radioing for one of the other techs, I tried to juggle everything at one and the problem line issues blew up in my face and I had a surprise meeting with my boss and my director about this and they pointed out that this has been an issue in the past. The director said that I am not expected to do it all and to use my resources. Basically, a professional way of saying get over yourself and ask for help when you need it. I need to get over my fear of asking for help at work, so I figured this is a good place to start. What tips do you ladies have for asking for help even when it's hard? I try to do it all and it clearly isn't doing me any favors, so what do you all think? Thanks!

7 interviews for 4 positions in the same company; no offers.
This has been over just the past three months. I'd like to think that they are looking for a place to put me. But I feel more like I'm continually failing or just not good enough to be employed in this market.

Should I ask for more (and how)?
I had an initial interview and they said they were budgeting $X-XX (10k span). I said we are probably not a good fit because the lowest I would take is 10k above their highest number. Realistically, I would be happy 20-30k higher (to be consistent with my current role). She said she'd take it to the hiring manager to see what they say. She came back and said they'd still like to interview me.
I'm further into the process now and understand the department was created in the last year and is growing. That makes me think they might be more flexible on the salary.
If I were to be offered the position, can I only really ask for that 10k I said I would consider or should I ask for more? It's tricky because the salary for the position title they have is appropriate but not for what they actually want (the scope is much greater than the title).
Do I ask? What do I say?
