How is everyone doing today?

It almost seems like this lockdown is interminable. I can't remember when it started and I don't know when it will end. So I wanted to check in with everyone. How are you?

I consistently schedule activities for myself as to not waste one day during this season of life. We will never return to this abundance of time and being "still". I am blessed that I am an empty nester; therefore home schooling is a non- issue in this household. My significant other was concerned that I would not survive as an extrovert; however, a consistent schedule has maintained my sanity. Everything is scheduled-- whether it is work related, personal development, or home chores.

Doing well and just taking things one day at a time. Everything starts to blend together, but I'm happy and healthy overall along with those closest to me. Hope you are well! We're all in this together and let's hope this is all over sooner than later. <3

Thanks for asking! I'm feeling very happy, all things considered. Small things like taking a walk and getting a breath of fresh air or connecting with friends are more important than ever to me. I'm lucky to have a job, food, and a loving, supportive family.

Thanks for asking. I'm one of the lucky ones that can work at home. I've been telecommuting for over 8 weeks now thanks to an upper respiratory infection, so I self-isolated early. My husband and I are filling our time with home repair/improvement projects to keep busy and are binge-ing our DVR backlog. We worry about our son and daughter-in-law who work in essential jobs and are exposed to the public daily in the course of the workday. My husband was supposed to retire, but is hanging in there for a bit to help his employer and to garner a bit more income in this crazy time. Fifteen of my colleagues and I are 3D printing and assembling face shields for hospitals, first-responders and workers in long-term care facilities, so that is something to keep me busy as well. My advice is to spend some time outside (it is wonderfully refreshing, even if it is to the end of your street and back), read a book you've never really had time for, try a new recipe, call a friend that you haven't touched base with in a while. Send a written letter to someone special in your life. Don't the virus limit you; be creative in your outlook and maybe for a while, limit your viewing of the news. Watch a silly movie. Learn a new skill. Stop and really observe the world around you. Do a virtual tour of a famous museum you want to visit (they are offered online). Most of all, take care of yourself and the people around you. As cliche as it sounds, we are really experiencing this together. Our experiences are not all the same, but in this human moment, we are together nonetheless. Best wishes to you and know that we all do feel your pain.

Thank you for asking! I am fortunate to work for a software company, so we are all able to work remotely. So my week days are kept to a routine. I am getting a bit of cabin fever as we warm up, gray skies give way to more blue and the trees turn green. I'm grateful for what I have and have the hope for the future so am also #blessed.

I'm with you all -- the days and weeks are just blurring together. I'm grateful for this community, my friends and family who check up on me, and still being able to work from home. There are indications that this work situation will last well into the fall so I've just given my worries to the good Lord and take one day at a time.

I think I'm learning a lot about myself and my routines. I've found it most helpful to not think of the quarantine as one long stretch, but rather to break it up by life events. I prepare for one project/event/etc. then move onto the next. Mother's Day is the next big one in my house.
