Seasonal Depression

Does anyone else start to feel sad as the nights come faster and the looming holidays make you think of loved ones who are no longer with us? Any tips on how to beat the holiday/winter blues?

The gray and cold always get to me. A sun lamp can really help!

Yes, for sure. I think one of the best things I do is make sure to get to the gym. Especially to help cure the winter blues. It gets you active and beats that sluggish feeling we all tend to get with holidays, the darkness when leaving work and keeps you moving. Also, be sure to do fun outdoor things any time the weather is ok on the weekends, even if a stroll for an hour so you get those sun rays even in the cold.
