I've been thinking about how my newsfeed on Facebook and Instagram always shows me these "coder boot camps". Women are being encouraged to learn code, to jump into tech, and change their lives.
It wasn't that long ago that the "career change" or the "new fix" for shifting gears professionally was driving women into dental hygienist, medical assistant, or even nursing.
I'm excited to see more opportunities being marketed towards women.
What are some other STEM pushes you've noticed in the last five years?
