Hello, ladies. I have a serious conundrum. In my daily life, I deal with a chronic neurological illness (similar to multiple sclerosis) which affects all aspects of life, not just work. And there is very little understanding, even from family and friends. There are a few relationships which are on rocky ground. The most recent episode has lasted weeks when I expected a few days. To get an idea, I have only been able to do housework for maybe 15 days of the past month. And I've had to cancel some social engagements. So I'm very hesitant to go back to work full time and really need a job where face time is less important than actually completing assignments.
I'll be seeing a specialist and hoping that the result is more normalcy. In the meantime, does anyone have ideas on what types of jobs I can do where I can work as much as possible when I feel good and take care of myself when I'm having an episode?
All ideas are welcome!
